Water is fundamental to life, yet even today millions of people already are struggling against poverty and lack of access to clean and safe water sources.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever digs a well will receive reward from Allah on the Day of Judgement when anyone from amongst the jinn, men and birds drink from it”.
A hand pump for a family or a well or water sanitation nearby to their home for a family can transform lives. Clean and safe water improves health; it provides security and stability, it frees women and children from the daily chores of walking for hours to obtain water and also saves many children from diseases and giving them opportunities to focus more on education.
At Junaid Ahmed Foundation, we are working on the installation of hand pumps in different areas of Tharparkar to provide the families there with safe and clean drinking water in their close proximities, since we all are familiar with the fact that Tharparkar is a desert and access to water is a key problem in this district.

For a donor who provides clean water as Sadqah-e-Jariyah, there are eternal rewards of ongoing blessings for themselves and their loved ones.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
We erect a plaque at the site for donors which can include the name of loved ones that they are donating it as Sadqah-e-Jariah for, a memorial message to someone, the donor’s name, or a quote.
Specify a maximum of 25-30 characters (including spaces) to go on the plaque.
Donors will receive a completion report and photos of the pump with your message once it is installed. If you don’t want a message on your plaque simply proceed to payment and we will do the rest.
