Day 15 We continue to deliver Food Drive to remote areas

It’s Day 15 and we have been continuing our efforts to reach remote villages in the Naukot and surrounding villages by boat to deliver our Food Drive. Although many of the villages have left there are still those that do not wish to give up their land which is why it is essential that we provide them food rations and other essentials.

We want to take this opportunity to thank our major donors in the UK which includes chambeili, Precious by Myra and many individual donors that have helped us provide financial support.

As you can see from the video, the water levels have not dropped, and many thousands are still stranded in the Naukot area. Over 33 million people have been affected, most of which are in the Sindh and Balochistan area; it will take many years to rebuild lost homes, livestock, and agriculture. We kindly ask everyone outside Pakistan to continue your support; every donation small or large is going to provide displaced families with food, water and other essentials.

As winter is around the corner, we will need to start working on providing weatherproof makeshift shelter with warm blankets, mobile gas cookers, and long term storable foods, teas, dry powder milk, biscuits and water.
